Meet our director: Wendy Guidos

My sister-in-law was a hairdresser, and I was drawn to this profession because I thought, "what better career could there be, than to get to make people happy and look good". I graduated from Phagans' in Salem in 1994 and went to work for Great Clips as the manager and hairstylist until 1999. In the five years I worked for Great Clips, I saw a lot of employees come and go because they were lacking some of the skills needed to succeed in this profession. I decided I would like to become an educator to give back some of what I had learned. I started as an educator in 1999 and am now the director of the Salem campus.
