Phagans' colleges have been in existence since 1953 and were founded by Wilma Lee Phagans-Harrington. There were six original colleges located throughout Oregon. Now there are ten colleges located in Oregon and Washington, which are owned by three separate corporations. I Phasion Inc. owns six of the nine colleges that are located in the state of Oregon. The current owner of I Phasion Inc.'s colleges is Ms. Karen Dieckman.

Ms. Dieckman worked for Phagans' for 20 years before purchasing her first college, Phagans' Central Oregon Beauty College, in 1980 located in beautiful Bend, Oregon. Phagans' School of Beauty, located in the state capital, was the second college to be purchased by Karen, in 1981. In 1989, Karen incorporated the colleges as I Phasion Inc., which is said as "eye fashion."

In 1987, the next college to become a part of the I Phasion Inc. team was Phagans' Medford Beauty School, located in the southern region of Oregon. Then, in 1989, Phagans' Beauty College located in the peaceful town of Corvallis was purchased.

I Phasion Inc opened another college, located in the rolling hills of southern Oregon in 1992, Phagans' Grants Pass College of Beauty. Our most recent addition came on New Years Day 1996 when Phagans' Newport Academy of Cosmetology Careers, located along the gorgeous Oregon coast line, became part of the corporate team.

All six of these colleges are privately incorporated as I Phasion Inc. d.b.a. Phagans' Beauty Schools. Karen Dieckman is the residing President and C.E.O. of the corporation.
